State Life Sciences Research Receives Stimulus Grants

Major universities in Indiana are receiving more than $3.2 million in federal stimulus funds for life sciences research. U.S. Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN) says nine proposals have earned grants from the National Institutes of Health. They are designed to advance medical research in fields ranging from aging to heart disease.
